Travel abroad once with your current cellular carrier and check out your bill. Don't be surprised – it will be a very expensive experience. Roaming rates of your cellular carriers may vary according to destination, but they may soar to more than $5 per minute on outbound or inbound calls.

Incoming calls are free wherever this is also offered locally, and international outgoing calls are offered at very good rates. Local calls however are at a higher rate compared to local services
